This paper studies the impact of Egypt's monetary and fiscal policies on the rate of economic growth from 1991 to 2013. The analysis is based on the model derived from the variables: revenues, expenditure, money supply and domestic credit. The paper starts with a literature review on monetary and fiscal policies and reviews their respective development in Egypt during the given period. This is followed by an econometric model that is provided and analyzed. The author ends the report with discussing the effects of the components of monetary and fiscal policies in relation to the growth rate in the short and long run.
