يدعو مشروع حلول للسياسات البديلة (APS) الشباب إلى تقديم مقترحاتهم السياسية المبتكرة لقضايا التنمية الأكثر إلحاحًا في مصر. تتضمن المقترحات السياسية (على سبيل المثال لا الحصر) المجالات التالية:

	<li style="direction: rtl;">الشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة</li>
	<li style="direction: rtl;">الحماية الاجتماعية</li>
	<li style="direction: rtl;">التغير المناخي</li>
	<li style="direction: rtl;">التعليم</li>
</ul>
<h3 style="direction: rtl; text-align: right;">تتكون المسابقة من ثلاث مراحل</h3>
المرحلة الأولى: تشمل تقديم أطروحة بحثية لا تقل عن 1000 كلمة باللغة الإنجليزية أو العربية. يجب أن تحتوي المقالة على: (أ) عنوان ؛ (ب) ملخص موجز لأهم نقاط البحث (تتراوح بين 150 إلى 250 كلمة)؛ (ج) مقدمة وفجوة سياسية وسؤال البحث والمنهجية والاستنتاج ؛( د ) المراجع.
المرحلة الثانية : سيتم دعوة الفائزين في المرحلة الاولي لتقديم مسودتهم الأولى وفقًا للإرشادات التي سيتم مشاركتها معهم. وعليه، سيتم دعوة المرشحين  لحضور ورشة عمل لمدة ثلاثة أيام حول كيفية  كتابة ورقة سياسة فعالة وتلقي تعليقات علي مسوداتهم الاولية.
المرحلة الثالثة: بعد ورشة العمل، من المتوقع أن يقوم المشاركون بمراجعة مسودتهم التي من خلالها سيتم سيتم الإعلان عن أفضل ثلاث أوراق بحثية فائزة.

يمكن التقديم فرديًا أو في فريق عمل.

تقدم المسابقة جوائز تقديرية ومالية. بالإضافة إلى شهادة تقديرية لجميع المتأهلين للتصفيات النهائية ، ستتمكن من عرض فكرتك على جمهور من واضعي السياسات والمتخصصين في القطاع وغيرهم من أصحاب المصلحة. كما سيتم نشر أفضل خمس ورقات عبر الإنترنت من خلال موقع المشروع الإلكتروني. كما سيتلقى مؤلفوا أفضل ثلاث ورقات بحثية 10000 جنيه كل على حدى.

Alternative Policy Solutions (APS) is organizing an open talk discussing the potential of the Universal Basic Income as a social policy instrument and assess the desirability and feasibility of its implementation in the Egyptian context, in light of the experience of other developing countries, and of Egypt's current social protection system. The event hosts Dr. Phillippe Van Parijs, a leading political philosopher and political economist at the Université catholique de Louvain and KU Leuven and at Oxford University.

About the Speaker
<h3>Philippe Van Parijs </h3>
Philippe Van Parijs is a special guest professor at the Universities of Louvain and Leuven, a Robert Schuman Fellow at the European University Institute and an associate member of Nuffield College, Oxford. He was the founding director of Louvain’s Hoover Chair of Economic and Social Ethics from 1991 to 2016, and a regular visiting professor at Harvard University from 2004 to 2008 and at the University of Oxford from 2011 to 2015. He is a member of Belgium’s Royal Academy of Sciences and a Fellow of the British Academy. He is one of the founders of the Basic Income Earth Network and chairs its International Board.
