<p style="text-align: justify;">As the president of this round of the COP, COP27, there is tremendous pressure on Egypt to ensure a successful path forward in the various tracks within the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. Egypt&rsquo;s own climate agenda is under the spotlight as well, and it must be clear about its national efforts to reduce carbon emissions as part of a coherent climate change strategy that is aligned with global ambitions. This paper explores both the global and domestic expectations for COP27 and beyond and how best Egypt can capitalize on this moment. It also explores the ambitions of CSAs in the environmental and climate change space in Egypt, as well as those they represent.&nbsp;</p>
