بعد مرور شهرين على إعلان الحكومة المصرية البدء في تنفيذ برنامج الطروحات، الذي تستهدف منه الدولة طرح 25% من 33 شركة (قد تصل إلى 40) مملوكة للقطاع العام على مدى 6 أشهر، لم يتم الانتهاء من أيٍّ من الطروحات بعدُ، سواء عن طريق البيع لمستثمرين إستراتيجيين أو من خلال الاكتتاب العام في البورصة المصرية، أو كليهما.

In early February the Egyptian government announced the launch of its IPO program, aiming to sell 25% of 33 (and perhaps up to 40) publicly owned companies over the next six months. Two months later, not a single deal has been finalized, either through a sale to strategic investors or a public offering on the Egyptian Exchange, Egypt&rsquo;s stock exchange.&nbsp;
