<p style="text-align: justify;">اقترح البرلماني المصري، أيمن محسب، إنشاء قاعدة بيانات وطنية للباعة المتجولين، موضحًا أن ذلك سيساعد الدولة في إصدار تراخيص عمل للباعة المتجولين العاملين في القطاع غير الرسمي وتحديد أماكن مخصصة لهم. وبرر البرلماني هذا الاقتراح إيمانًا منه، على حد قوله، بأن القطاع غير الرسمي، وتحديدًا الباعة المتجولين، "يهدد استقرار الشارع المصري"، وأنه "واجهة غير حضارية"، كما أن الدولة لا تستفيد من هذا القطاع ضريبيًّا ولا تتحصل على أي نوع من الرسوم.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The recent requirement by the Tax Authority for self-employed professionals to register in the electronic invoicing system has prompted objections from certain professional syndicates, notably the Doctors&rsquo; and the Lawyers&rsquo; Syndicates.<br>They reject the equation of their work with commercial services, and object to the high fees and accompanying bureaucracy &ndash; which could limit the availability and affordability of their services.</p>

<h2><span style="color: rgb(6, 71, 137);"><strong>New Governmental Measures to Regulate the Informal Sector</strong></span></h2>
<p style="text-align: justify;">A parliamentarian, Ayman Mohaseb, proposed the formulation of a national database for street vendors. The parliamentarian justified that the database will be used to issue licenses and designate spaces for them to operate. Being part of the informal economy, the parliamentarian justified this proposition by stating that the informal economy &ldquo;threatens the stability of the Egyptian street,&rdquo; that street vendors are &ldquo;uncivilized&rdquo;, and that informal workers pay neither taxes nor operating fees to the authorities.</p>
